Crew ink Mirosevic

News: The Columbus Crew have signed attacking midfielder Milovan Mirosevic previously of Universidad Católica.  The 31-year old racked up 71 goals in 216 appearances in two stints for the Chilean first division club.  He has also played in Argetnina and Israel.

Analysis: This is a big signing for the Crew as they were mostly devoid of any creativity from the midfield in 2011.  The Chilean brings a wealth of experience having won three titles with Catolica as well as 23 senior appearances for the Chilean national team.  He should be a double threat in fantasy as both a goals and assists provider.  Consider him an excellent sleeper in fantasy for 2012 as a midfielder with upside.  Now the Crew need to find a forward to score some goals in front of Mirosevic.
