Schwarzer has back injury

News: Fulham goal keeper Mark Schwarzer is set to miss as much as the next six weeks with an injury to his back. The 39-year old has bee diagnosed with a compression in his thoracic spine.

Analysis: This is a tough blow for Fulham and skipper Martin Jol as Fulham have started the season slowly. The team has recalled David Stockdale from his loan to Ipswich Town where he has made 18 starts this season. Expect the 26-year old to take over the number one job for the Cottagers while the Aussie is out injured. He will have competition from Csaba Somogyi and Neith Etheridge, but neither have ever made an appearance in the Premiership while Stockdale made seven starts last season. The Fulham keeper should be a good mid range fantasy keeper as they club has posted six clean sheets already this season.
